I Always Listen to My Mom

My mom always told me to never talk to strangers. She said that strangers will ask you if you want to help them find their puppy, or that your parents are in the hospital and you have to go with them. She said strangers will take children and do terrible things to them.

She told me that if a stranger calls me, that I shouldn’t answer them and that I should run away or hide until they go away because of all the bad things strangers do to little kids like me.

I see the strangers every day, but I always remember what my mom told me. No matter how much they call my name, I won’t let them know where I am. I just wish my mom could find me.
