My Brother's Secret

My little brother and I have a secret.

We promised that we wouldn’t tell mom about going to the lake, and he made me promise that I wouldn’t tell her about how he got lost in the woods looking for worms. When I found him hiding in the rotten trunk of a tree, he made me promise that I wouldn’t tell anyone where he was, or that something else came home with me and has been wearing his face ever since.

Open the Airlock
